BULK STORAGE ULT FREEZERS:
TRIPLEPOINT LTD can custom build -80°C freezers of any size for bulk storage. This type of equipment temperature range is an in-house specialty for us, with >20years of experience in custom builds ranging from small lab units to large industrial systems operating down to <-100°C in the pharmaceutical and life-science sector.
We also provide design/build/consultancy services worldwide to equipment manufacturers of mass produced -80°C equipment, as well as end users.
Our main/current bulk storage design is a pharmaceutical grade VACCINE STORAGE ROOM (FRSM-384-80) with an internal volume of over 22m3. This 8x 'cartridge style' door system is purpose designed for housing (purpose built) trolleys for a total of 384x 10L carboys/flasks or 3456x cryoboxes (230mm x 230mm) with ample airflow allowance around all flasks/boxes for effective/uniform blast freezing from ambient down to -80°C.
Each of the 8x doors are SLIDE-OUT MODULES which contain 48x 10L flasks/sterile carboys per door (or 432 cryoboxes).
The slide-modules accept the 'wheel in/wheel out' operation of our custom interlocking S/S trolleys, which can be configured to suit your product packaging.
Custom configurations and bespoke applications are welcome.

- -80°C vaccine storage rooms, to any size.
- FAST FREEZE (from ambient) or STORAGE MODE @-80°C (or warmer).
(almost ALL small 100-800L lab freezers, from all manufacturers, are not designed for rapid freezing, they can only handle small amounts of product at a time, and they are NOT designed for many repeated door openings each day. Therefore a 'freezer farm' with hundreds of small -80 lab freezers will not have 'fast freezing' capacity, will consume a significant amount of extra power & space)

ULTRA LOW TEMPERATURE refrigeration equipment should be as reliable and long lasting as any other type of general refrigeration system providing they are well designed by specialists and serviced correctly. If not, then they really can become a long lasting and costly nightmare for end users and unfortunately we often get involved in re-designing ULT equipment made by inexperienced designers.
Making an ultra low temperature is not that difficult - but making it with a reliable and efficient system is a very different thing. We have redesigned significantly sized and priced (new) equipment made by others and achieved >250% performance increases, complete with 60% gas charge reductions, and 'best temperature' improvements from -75°C down to -106°C. (all using 90% of the existing circuit, and original compressors).
