SPECIALISED COOLING SYSTEMS
TRIPLEPOINT LTD and sister company ULT REFRIGERATION LTD design and build highly specialised cooling systems for applications that require temperatures down to and below -80°C including those applications involving multiple processes like high vacuum, steam sterilization, silicon oil heat transfer fluids etc.
We provide complete design/build services (in-house) and offer process engineering consultancy and PLC controls logistics support for integrating our systems into other machinery and their processes.
Our designs and their construction are very focused on quality, efficiency, serviceability and long-service lifetimes.
We also modify and upgrade specialised cooling systems in new and old equipment originally made by other manufacturers - to improve on operation, reliability, and efficiency.

Configurations include:
- Two stage, ultra-low temperature (TPL-TS)
- Cascade, ultra-low temperature (TPL-CC)
- Single stage, Medium/low temperature (TPL-SS)
- Cascade, low temperature for special applications or extreme conditions (TPL-CCS)
- Air-cooled or Water cooled. Or, we can incorporate our automated DUAL CONDENSER system which is an air AND water cooled system where each cooling medium is backed up by the other. Particularly useful in high value/constant production lines.
Below are some examples of our TPL-TS range, which are 2-stage (-85°C) cooling systems using a twin-tandem setup for variable heat loads on a freeze dryer.

Exchangeable -85Deg.C cooling modules, designed and built by TRIPLEPOINT LTD for a special application. They can slide out for full access, and can be swapped out completely in <30min, even while the Pharmaceutical freeze dryer keeps running. Flexible/big-bore refrigeration lines, water and 3ph electrical feeds connect via an enclosed drag-chain design allowing movement in/out via rails.
Large -85Deg.C custom pharmaceutical grade cascade unit, designed and built by TRIPLEPOINT LTD. Made in 2003, this is a highly reliable system that is 1/3 the size of many comparable capacity systems (even those on offer today by many equipment manufacturers). It is still going strong after more than 20years of hard work, and with >95% of its original parts still on board. It has annual services by TRIPLEPOINT LTD. -85Deg.C 2-stage screw compressor systems, these were designed by TRIPLEPOINT LTD for a customer to implement as a standard option for pharmaceutical equipment. They have been duplicated many 100's of times since the original design in 2002 and they have proven to be an extremely reliable workhorse for many satisfied end users.
